Our company's objective was clear: attain Top Ten Dessert Company status in the United States and offer exceptional cheesecake.
The Dessert-Wars National Championship was held in Charlotte NC this past Saturday. We were finalists from the Pittsburgh Competition last April at the David L Lawrence Convention Center.
We just received notification Today, October 21, 2024. We achieved unparalleled success, ranking among the TOP 5 nationally, securing the #4 Judges Position Overall in the United States, out of 48 finalists, evaluated by Food Network experts and influential food bloggers, and earning the Judges Best Cheesecake Company.
This Competition was tough! Considering we were competing against all types of desserts, cookies, cakes, stuffed waffles, ice cream, all manner of chocolate confections, pies, flan, macarons and yes a variety of cheesecakes.
We offered the judges our standard menu Tiramisu Mocha Ripple cheesecake with cream cheese frosting infused with Florio Marsala and fresh Italian espresso and topped with a espresso Macaron dipped in Belgium Dark Chocolate. Dessert Wars Top 3 Peoples and Top 3 Judges Choice Pittsburgh winners on their way to Charlotte in October.
On April 27th, 2024, we participated in Dessert-Wars at the David L Lawrence Convention Center in downtown Pittsburgh and Won Judges Choice Top 3 position to move on to the National Championship along with 5 other excellent Tri-State area bakers to represent Pittsburgh in Charlotte, North Carolina in October.
Dessert Wars, the “Largest Dessert Festival in America,” will be hosting its National Championship in Charlotte, North Carolina. The event will feature the top 48 bakers in America competing for the Judge’s Choice Champion and People’s Choice Awards.
Dessert vendors from around the country will be on hand and attendees can sample a wide array of desserts. The General Public can vote for their favorite dessert at the famous Voting Wall for the $10,000 People’s Choice Award.
We baked 2,000 cheesecake samples and introduced a new Bitty Bite Caramel Pretzel which was a huge hit! This was intense and exhausting... but loads of fun. The amount of positive feedback was outstanding. The line waiting for our booth was ridiculous.
We offered New York Cheesecake, Berry-Berrie Cheesecake, Death by Chocolate cheesecake and Cappuccino cheesecake. Plus, Bitty Bites in plain cheesecake, Oreo cheesecake and Caramel Pretzel. Mocha Cappuccino Supreme for the judges.
THE JUDGES CONSIST OF: Highly respected and Nationally Recognized Food Artists, Chefs and Award winning food influencers & bloggers featured on Food Network & Netflix, will serve as the Judges panel to declare the winner of the Judge’s National Champion.
The Competition Judges represent the Best of the Best in United States Dessert Industry including The James Beard Foundation, The FoodNetwork, and have been seen on The BigBake, Buddy VS Duff, Netflix’s SugarRush Christmas, Discovery Plus’ Cakealikes, and The Cooking Channels Bake It Till U Make It and Beat Bobby Flay. Many of the Judges are award winning bakers themselves and are Best Selling Authors.
The winner of the Judge’s Champion Choice Award and the People’s Choice Award will each win $10,000.
